Marching Band - Jazz Bands - Concert Bands

El Dorado's two Jazz Bands are known for their high level of musicianship and their straight-ahead jazz style.  Both bands have consistently received top honors in local and regional jazz competitions.  Jazz I has taken first place in their division in 5 of the last 8 years at the prestigious Reno International Jazz Festival, and in 2006 the El Dorado Jazz program had an unprecedented showing, with both Jazz I and Jazz II ensembles capturing first place in their divisions, and Jazz I winning the Outstanding Instrumental Ensemble award for the festival.
